Back in the day when dinosaurs roamed the internet, Sark included an interview with me in her book Juicy Pens and Thirsty Paper. Such a catchy title and, needless to say, I was delighted to be included. These days the Soul Food Cafe, which I created and ran for ten years, is living in the Way Back Machine but until recently I did run writing classes in my local town.
These days I am happy to be a participant on Instagram and, as the Tarot Midwife get a buzz out of sharing fun ways to kick start writing with Tarot and ideas like Sark’s.
I am currently working with Grieselda, a character who is the heroine of a Dark Tale I am writing. I have been spending time interviewing her and working collaboratively on prompts like this. Yes! Call me crazy but I am enjoying actively communicating with my leading lady. Even my inner critic has been silenced, or has wandered off to another country for a holiday. Either way its been more peaceful as I work with Grieselda. I am not sure when or if we will publish anything, but for now we are happy in one another’s company. Her life story is way more colourful than mine.
After looking at the card we agreed to wile away some time talking about nights of ecstasy and to write something erotic. Which dots capture your imagination?
